About Me

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. My research focus on changes that new media brings into the fields of international communication and media economics. For my dissertation, I plan to apply network analysis to study the bridging role of blogs in connecting media sphere across national boundary, between professional and citizen journalism, as well as among different news perspectives. Besides my passion in new media research, I also enjoy teaching multimedia skills  including web publishing (HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver), photo editing (Photoshop) and presentation (Soundslides), audio editing (Audacity), video editing (Final Cut Pro).
